posting pictures

I tried to upload some pictures but I failed. I got some verbage to show, but not the pictures. What's the magic steps? I "uploaded attachments" and it acted like it was working, but no pictures show.

Browse to find the picture on your machine and then click add file. Once you see the file is uploaded then click Place Inline and it will put it in the post.
